1. Undisputably the finest and funniest film of all time, every line from Groucho and Chico is pure genius, as is every line Harpo doesn't say.

3. Cinematic history was made by Tarantino with this dark comedy that pays tribute to so many other great films such as 'The Killer'.

5. Fantastic debut from the legendary Mel Brooks, its recent broadway and weste end resurgence and movie remake are testament to its greatness.

7. Far too many sequels and dated special effects should never detract from the pulse-raising experience Spielberg created in Jaws. The trio of Schneider, Dreyfuss and Shaw are superb.

9. Brilliantly polished script and acting, UK cinema has rarely reached such heights.

11. Francis Ford Coppola's other masterpiece, every minute is worth it.

13. Tarantino's explosive debut made him hugely successful for good reason. Harvey Keitel, Michael Mann and Tim Roth stand out, while Quentin himself does a good turn.

15. Rodrigues and Tarantino team up to deliver the ultimate vampire flick, Salma Hayek's dance alone makes this a must see.

17. The original heist movie with the classic theme-tune.

19. Another great Scorsese, De Niro and Pesci combination, gloriously shot and not to mention supported by Sharon Stone, James Wood, and Frank Vincent.

First book of the Women of the Otherworld Series. Elena, the world's only female werewolf, is forced to reconnect with her pack (and the werewolf who bit her) in order to keep a rogue wolf from killing people.

Book 3 of the Women of the Otherworld. This one is narrated by Paige, who admittedly seems whiny in book 2, but is actually a strong and intelligent woman.

Book 5 - this one is narrated by Eve, the black witch who is now in the underworld. She's desperately trying to keep watch on her daughter, still on earth, while dealing with a ton of problems with the fates, the man she loved, etc.

This is narrated by Jamie Vegas, the talk show psychic who is also a necromancer. She plans a romantic weekend for Jeremy, werewolf pack alpha that she has been very interested in, and luckily he helps save the day.

Rachel decides to leave her job (supernatural version of the FBI) to strike out on her own. Ivy, her amazing vampire colleague goes with her, as does her pixies Jenks and his family.

Rachel strikes a deal with AL, the demon who is interested in her, agreeing to become his familiar if he gets evil vampire piscary put in jail. Only she has no real plans of going into the ever after and working for a demon.

Al and Piscary strike up a deal that leaves Rachel, Ivy, and Kisten struggling to pick up the pieces and sort truth from fiction.

Cat tries to take out Bones, a very very old powerful vampire, and instead of killing her, he strikes a deal with her and they pair up to go after a ring of vampires who are kidnapping women and selling them to the undead.

The local werewolf Alpha and Mercy's neighbor Adam is in trouble when his daughter is kidnapped.

Mercy's friend and mentor who happens to be a member of the fey is in prison for murder, and Mercy sets out to found out who really did it.

Bella moves up to Washington to live with her dad and falls hard for Edward who just happens to be a vampire. At first Edward, who's sworn off human blood, is worried to be around her because he's so attracted to her, but when another vampire decides to go over Bella, Edward has to keep her safe.

With Edward back and the long standing hatred between vampires and werewolves, Bella has to choose between the two.

Love her or hate her, most agree that the early Anita Blake books are worth reading.

Rachel Morgan is a screwball witch who manages to survive a death curse and who starts her own detective agency with a living vampire and a pixie in a world where a virus in mutated tomatoes killed off a large % of the population, forcing the "others" to come out of the closet.

Faythe is a werecat who wanted a real life away from the pack ... but who is drawn back in after a serial killer starts on the female members.

Another strong heroine to admire.

A good start to an interesting take on demon posession.

An interesting combination of Native American and Celtic legends.

Get used to reading on the edge of your seat and be glad there are already six books in this series - they all end on cliffhangers!

Another straightforward fantasy, but excellent. Yelena is saved from execution with the offer to be the Commander's food taster.

A variant on her Mercy books, this series follows Charles & Anna, introduced in the anthology "On the Prowl". Published this Spring.

Several excellent authors have given this series their seal of approval: Lilith Saintcrow, Jim Butcher, and Simon Green, among them. Soon-to-be-published.

Looks like an interesting take on vampires and radio stations. Published in May, 2008

This novel kicks off a series about brothers that are cursed to be werewolves. It's set in the regency era, and while there are times that Thompson will get you to laugh, she'll mostly enthrall you with a really good story.

This starts of a series with Fae and Highlanders, delectable heroes and wise-cracking women. There's action, humor, romance, intrigue and suspense. You'll want to read every novel of this series and want more! Moning also has another great series that starts with "Darkfever." Start with the Highlanders series first.

You'll love the characters in this story. Especially the hunky, hot Alpa male warriors of Poseidon. There's magic, adventure, Atlantis, vampires, shapeshifters and a battle to protect mankind.

This is another edgy series where the demons aren't always the bad guys. Morgan is a tough lead female that will make you take notice. I'm impatiently waiting for the next installment.

Starts off a series with time traveling, immortal Highland warriors. These warriors protect mankind from demon destruction. Expect magic, adventure, romance and an all around good read.

I thought this was the first book of the series, but it's listed as book 2. Great series, that intermingles current times with beings we thought were in the past: Author and his knights, Fae, Sidhe, magic. This series isn't for the faint of heart--the love scenes are pretty erotic. Still worth a read.
